C H A R A C T E R S

Bichunmoo is not short of characters. Some viewers have trouble taking in all the different one in the film.

 

JIN-HA - the hero of the story. As a boy he began learning the secret art of Bichun Shin Gi, to dance with a sword. When he rescued a young girl from a wolf, the quickly became friends and eventually fell in love. They stayed with each other until they were adults, but then Sullie's father - a Mongol ruler - took her away. But he failed to reckon with Jin-Ha's absolute devotion to Sullie, and his incredible sword skills.

SULLIE - beautiful yet troubled daughter of the Mongols. Her entire family and army stands against the man she loves, and attempts to force another man on her as husband. As the stroylin unfolds, Sullie begins to question where her loyalalties must lie, and has t make a decision about who she truly loves, and whether love is enough to overcome any circumstance. Gentle and feminine, Sullie can be cunning and lethal with a sword when she desires it.

KING NAMGUNG - at first, this wealthy nobleman appears arrogant, selfish and headonistic. However, other shades of his character soon appear. He helps Jin-Ha defeat a gang of street thugs, and soon befriends him. Little does either know, they both are in love with the same woman. Namgung is a loyal, brave man, but when the situation arises, his love for Sullie puts him in a terrible position.
